Second Moscow-Tartu Late Summer School on Digital Humanities

The Moscow-Tartu School on Digital Humanities is intended to restart and to a large extent to reinvent the original summer schools on semiotic modelling systems that took place in Estonia in the 60-ies.

The mission of the school is to bring together young researchers from across the disciplines (mathematicians, computer scientists, philologists, linguists) and get them work in teams on multidisciplinary tasks. Such activity encourages collaboration between scholars, helps establish common goals at the intersection of research areas, and essentially facilitates the creation of interdisciplinary meta-language of digital scholarship in the humanities.
