Two Articles by Our Team Members Are Published

An article written by all research team project members is published in Seans, and another paper by the head of the team Anna Kovalova is in the latest issue of the Slavonic and East European Review. Manuscript "Silent and Free. Emancipation in Early Cinema" (Seans, 2018, no 67, pp. 152-157) is foucsed on the motive of "the new woman" in early cinema. Anna Kovalova's paper in Slavonic and East European Review (2018, vol. 96, no 2, pp. 208-243) investigates screenwriting in early Russian cinema and the life and work of Aleksandr Voznesenskii, who is considered to be the first professional screenwriter in Russia.
