Research Team Project Journal

This journal publishes those librettos that have captured our special attention. Until the collection has been formed and carefully edited, it is hardly possible to select the most symptomatic or historically significant texts. That is why the texts are chosen subjectively, and the term “journal” in this case means a diary rather than a scholarly periodical. It is indeed a kind of a diary that reflects the work in progress of our research group. We publish those texts that seem to be the most appealing to us, so as not to lose track of our future research among the mass of material. On the other hand, the journal will let us share some of our results with colleagues at an early stage of our work, and it will serve as a kind of a guide to our project. English translations of the librettos will be added over time.
