On October 27, Felix Azhimov, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, paid a working visit to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). There, he met with his colleagues: Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at PolyU, Ping Li, and the Head of the Department of English and Communication at the same faculty, Eric Friginal.

During the meeting, the faculties exchanged proposals for joint projects and identified key areas for collaboration, ranging from organizing student exchanges to conducting a joint summer school in Moscow. The colleagues from PolyU expressed particular interest in developing digital methods in the humanities, computational linguistics, and artificial intelligence. The meeting also served to outline the initial steps for further collaboration: organizing a joint conference on modern humanities and the application of digital research methods, with the long-term goal of launching a dual degree program.

The outcome of the meeting included not only agreements but also the signing of a cooperation agreement. This agreement paves the way for both student exchanges and academic collaboration between the two faculties.
