Thomas Rollings' Report "Chernyshevsky and Ostrovsky: Critic and Dramatist"

On March 26, 2018 a post-graduate student at the University of Sheffield Thomas Rollings gave a talk at the seminar "West and East: Universalism of Culture".

Thomas Rollings described the context of writing by N.G. Chernyshevsky a critical article on the comedy by A.N. Ostorovsky "Poverty is no vice". Chernyshevsky's article in Rollings' opinion very accurately reflects critic's position on the Ostrovsky oeuvre on the whole.
