Maria Ivanova and Julia Akinina Presented the Russian Aphasiological Test at the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Aphasia Society

Research fellows at the Center for Language and Brain Maria Ivanova and Yulia Akinina went to Macao (China) to the 57th annual meeting of Academy of Aphasia. There, they proudly presented Russian Aphasia Test, or RAT, for short. RAT is not only the first up-to-date standardized comprehensive test for post-stroke language deficits in Russian. It is also the first diagnostic language battery to be fully implemented as a tablet app. At the Academy of Aphasia the results of the RAT performance in two groups – individuals with aphasia and neurologically healthy controls – were reported.
