The author of the project of Russian-Italian meetings (Amalfi - 2012, 2015; Genoa - 2013, 2014), the chief research fellow of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue (HSE), the chief research fellow of IP RAS, Professor A.A. Kara-Murza was held the presentation of the new book "Знаменитые русские о Флоренции" ("Famous Russians about Florence").
Scientific coordinator of the project, deputy head of the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, academic director of the Master's Programme "Philosophical Anthropology", Professor O.A. Zhukova delivered the lecture-presentation "The Aesthetic Phenomenon of the Florentine Renaissance in the Perception of the Artists of the "Mir Iskusstva" ("World of Art")" for professors and students of the University of Florence.
Professor A.A. Kara-Murza together with O.A. Zhukova conducted a lecture-excursion for researchers of Russian philology and Slavonic students at the places of stay of outstanding Russian philosophers, writers and composers - Chaadaev, Stankevich, Herzen, Chicherin, Solovyov, Karsavin, Berdyaev, Stepun, Veidle, Dostoyevsky, Bryusov, Tchaikovsky - in Florence.Within the framework of the Russian-Florentine readings, Alexey Kara-Murza, Olga Zhukova (HSE), Olga Kusenko and Veronika Sharova (IP RAS) met with the President of the Andrei Tarkovsky International Institute A.A.
