The Center of language and brain at the Higher school of experiments
Family day at the Higher school of Economics in 2018 was held in the great hall of Russian Academy of Sciences, which at the time turned into a Higher school of experiments.
The children were assigned to teams according to their age and conducted interesting experiments: they studied the properties of minerals, physical properties of objects, color effects, some even blew up food, studied the structure of the brain and conducted chemical experiments. Parents at this time could relax, listen to music and a lecture "science Fiction", or join the children. The end of the holiday was a bright scientific show with many experiments on the stage, including a demonstration of a large working transformer of Tesla.
The Director of our center Olga Dragoi, as well as some other colleagues with children attended this wonderful event. We would like to thank the organizers for the coordinated work and for a lot of positive impressions!
Such events not only give colleagues the opportunity to have a great time with children and collaborators, but also help to attract children's attention to science in a bright, memorable way.
