On September 19, 2018 an international scientific conference devoted to the 100th anniversary of the collection "Iz glubiny" ("From the depths") was held at the National Research University "Higher School of Economics"

In the year of the centennial anniversary of the collection of essays "Iz Glubiny" ("From the depths") the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue organized the conference "De Profundis, or Requiem for Pre-Revolutionary Russia."
The idea of creating the collection was proposed by P. Struve in 1918. S.Frank's essay "De profundis" filled this idea with philosophical pathos. Europeans got acquainted with the collection only in 1921.

Within the framework of the conference, there was a premiere of a documentary film prepared by the deputy head of the Laboratory Elena Besschetnova and the research-assistant Alexander Girinsky.
Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Catholic University of Eichstätt Leonid Luks, Doctor of Historical Sciences Sergey Bychkov, Doctor of Political Sciences, senior researcher of the East-West Institute (Brussels) Danila Bochkarev, Deacon of Church Leonid Jalilov were invited as experts.
