Staff Members of the Neurolinguisitcs Laboratory at ‘Science of Aphasia’

Staff members of the Neurolinguisitcs laboratory took part in the Conference ‘Science of Aphasia’, that brings together researchers working in the multidisciplinary field of Neurocognition of language and deal with normal function as well as disorders. 


Yulia AkininaEkaterina Iskra and Svetlana Kuptsova took part in the Conference ‘Science of Aphasia’ that was held on September 17-22 in Aveiro, Portugal.

The event brings together researchers working in the multidisciplinary field of neurocognition of language and deal with normal function as well as disorders. 

Yulia Akinina and Ekaterina Iskra presented the poster report on ‘Verbs in aphasic discourse: data from the Russian Clinical Pear Stories Corpus’, which focuses on the use of verbs in the narratives by people with aphasia.

Svetlana Kuptsova presented the poster report ‘A new Russian Aphasia Test: development and standardization of single-word comprehension subtests’, in which she spoke about the intermediate results of development and standardization of the Russian Aphasia Test, intended for diagnosing speech disorders in aphasia.
