Alexander Dmitriev and Boris Stepanov took part in the Annual ASEEES Convention

Leading Research Fellows of IGITI Alexander Dmitriev and Boris Stepanov took part in the Annual Convention of ASEEES (Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies), held in Chicago on November 9–12.

Alexander Dmitriev presented a paper "Modernism at the Service of Socialist Realism: Vsevolod Vishnevsky as Cultural Ambassador", and participated in a round table discussion "Education in the Making of Modern Russia: Pathways to the Present". Boris Stepanov presented a paper "Soviet Science-Fiction Films and Post-Soviet Cinematic Experience".
