The International Linguistic Convergence laboratory organized a grant competition for creating spoken language corpora. The submission of applications ended on June 25. The organizer of the event and the head of the laboratory Nina Dobrushina talks about the goals of the competition and why recording spoken language is important.

The 2nd World Congress on Logic and Religion was held from June 18 to 22 in Warsaw. Researchers from HSE’s Moscow and Perm campuses took part in the event.


Elizaveta Sysoeva (Doctoral School of History) and Alexander Suvalko (Doctoral School of Philosophy), doctoral students at the HSE Faculty of Humanities, have received grants from the Russian President to study abroad in the academic year 2017/18.
